At Nomad Coatings, we stand behind the durability of our commercial work. Every project is backed by a structured 1–2 year warranty designed to give Property Managers, General Contractors, and Building Owners confidence that your coated surfaces will perform as intended.
Our warranty principles are simple:
clear standards, fast communication, and transparent responsibility.
Warranty Coverage
1-Year Warranty for General Contractors (GC)
Covers workmanship-related defects identified after project completion.
2-Year Warranty for Direct-to-Owner (DTO) Clients
Extended coverage for building owners and facility managers.
The warranty period begins on the date the project is officially completed and turned over.

Warranty Callback Process
Our process is fast, organized, and designed to minimize disruptions to your operations.
1. Initial Contact
When you contact us regarding an issue, we begin with a brief assessment to understand the problem.
You may be asked:
- When did the issue start?
- Has there been any leak, moisture event, or physical impact?
- Has the surface been recently cleaned or maintained?
- Is the issue spreading or localized?
- Can you provide a brief photo or description?
This helps determine whether the case appears warranty-related.
2. On-Site Evaluation
All warranty inspections follow the PCA Industry Standards for professional coating evaluation.
This means that surfaces are inspected:
-
Under normal lighting conditions (not extreme shadows or specialty lighting)
-
From a standard viewing distance of 4–5 feet
-
After the coating has fully cured/dried
-
Without using magnification or close-up photography
-
With consideration for the specific substrate and environment
These criteria ensure a fair, industry-approved assessment of whether a coating issue is related to workmanship, external factors, or natural wear.
During the on-site evaluation, we:
-
Review the affected area under proper lighting
-
Compare the surface against PCA Workmanship Standards
-
Identify possible root causes
-
Confirm if the issue qualifies as a warranty case
After inspection, you receive a clear written assessment and recommended next steps.
3. Approval & Scheduling
If approved as a warranty case, we coordinate a repair schedule based on building operations and access requirements.
If the issue falls outside warranty scope, we provide:
- An explanation
- Optional repair proposal
4. Warranty Repair Completion
A dedicated crew completes the warranty work with the same standards as the original project.
After completion, we perform a final quality check to ensure the repair meets professional expectations.
Our Warranty Philosophy
“Our work — and our warranty — follow the PCA Industry Standards.
We inspect coatings the same way professionals across the country do: from a standard viewing distance, under proper light, and with a focus on real-world performance — not unrealistic microscopic detail. A warranty is not a formality. It’s a promise that our work will continue to perform the way we said it would.”
— Safety Manager, Nomad Coatings

No vague language, no unclear boundaries — only clear standards and reliable follow-through.
